Christopher H. H. Booth was born on Sep­tem­ber 5, 1865, in Ac­cring­ton, Lan­ca­shire, Eng­land. Christopher em­i­grat­ed to Amer­i­ca with his parents in 1895 and became a na­tur­al­ized ci­ti­zen in 1905. He lived in New York Ci­ty, worked with the Vic­tor Talk­ing Ma­chine Com­pa­ny (1905), played for Red Seal ar­tists, and was or­gan­ist and choir­mas­ter at Church of the Ad­vent (1909-39). He died on April 19, 1939 in New York City. He was al­so a con­duct­or and com­pos­er.
