Representative Text

1 Who seeks the truth, that beacon bright,
Must come to God to find it,
Must shun the evil pow'r of night
And all that lies behind it.
The Lord is truth and light and way.
He will not let us go astray;
He tolerates no falsehood.

2 He who has truth will clearly see
The tide of battle turning
For truth will bring him victory
And brighter days are dawning.
And even though a cross we bear,
Have patience, and prevail in pray'r
For truth will conquer evil.

3 Oh, let us strive with all our might.
Let truth advise and lead us,
When we have fought the holy fight,
Into the arms of Jesus.
The truth will make the future clear.
If we but follow, without fear,
God's light will never fail us.

4 Who walks with truth will walk with love;
The Lord God will protect him.
The holy light is at his side;
No evil can affect him.
Lord, let us flee from sin's dark night
And ever follow Your true light.
Then truth will be our guardian.
