When I'm Alone

Representative Text

1 When I'm alone, that's when I like to kneel and pray,
When I'm alone, I feel so close to God that way,
Just to hold His hand in mine and to know that He is real,
When I'm alone, I'm with my God.

Refrain:
I'm with my Jesus ev'ry moment of the day,
His command forever I'll obey;
Just to touch His nail scarred hand
And to know He'll understand,
When I'm alone, I'm with my God.

2 When I'm alone, I know that He will meet me there,
When I'm alone, He said He'd answer ev'ry prayer,
I just think of Calvary where he died for you and me,
When I' alone, I'm with my God. [Refrain]
