By Thee supremely blest:
It brings refreshing from Thy throne,
And gives the weary rest.

Here may we drink the precious fount,
That flows for all so free,
Oh! tune our tongues, inspire our songs,
And make us one in Thee!

2 Through all the dangers of the week,
Thy arm has been our stay;
And now we come to praise Thy name,
For this dear Sabbath day. [Chorus]

3 May teachers, scholars, one and all,
Adore thy mercy Lord;
And meekly hear the simple truth,
