Some Day the Lord Is Coming

Representative Text

1. Some day the Lord will come again,
When stars are backward rolled;
When men from valley, hill and plain
His glory shall behold.

Refrain

Then send the good news,
Tell it and sing it wherever you go;
Some day the Lord is coming again;
Then send the good news,
Shout it and sing it wherever you go.
Some day the Lord is coming again.

2. Some day the Lord will come again,
Not as He came before;
But as a king with mighty train,
To say that time is o’er.

Refrain

3. Some day the Lord will come again,
When all the dead will rise;
And like an army on the plain,
Will meet Him in the skies.

Refrain

4. Some day the Lord will come again,
Just when no one can tell;
What would it bring you, joy or pain,
If He should come today?

Refrain
