Repent, Today, Repent

Representative Text

1 Repent today, repent,
Wait not until tomorrow.
Thy days may soon be o'er
With no more time to borrow.
And following thy death
Before God thou must stand.
Make haste and change thy ways,
Repent today, repent.

2 Repent today, repent
Thou know'st not date nor season
When death knocks at thy door
There is no time to reason.
We do not know how soon
Our life on earth will end
So make thy peace with God;
Repent today, repent.

3 Repent today, repent,
While there is time for praying.
Plead earnestly with God
And heed what He is saying.
Oh, break the chains of sin
Before thy life will end
Or else thy soul is lost;
Repent today, repent.

4 Repent today, repent,
Oh, change thy life this minute.
Pray for salvation now
While there is time to win it,
And give thy heart to God,
Make Jesus Christ thy Friend
Thy soul will then be saved;
Repent today, repent.
