Joyfully Receive Him

Representative Text

1 O what blessing Jesus brings!
Joyfully receive Him;
His are never-failing springs,
Joyfully receive Him.

Refrain:
Tenderly Jesus comes this way,
Joyfully welcome Him today;
Hasten to meet Him, do not delay;
Joyfully receive Him.

2 He has come to save the lost,
Joyfully receive Him;
Let thy poor heart, tempest-tossed,
Joyfully receive Him. [Refrain]

3 All your sin and need confessed,
Joyfully receive Him;
Now to be Thy lifelong guest,
Joyfully receive Him. [Refrain]

Joyfully receive Him;
Sweetest peace where Jesus lives,
Joyfully receive Him. [Refrain]
