O Lord, I Come

Representative Text

1. O Lord, I come unto Thy throne,
And plead Thy grace and pow’r alone;
I’m guilty, lost, and doomed to die
Unless Thou save me from on high.

Refrain

O Lord, I come, I come to Thee,
Forgive my sins, and set me free;
O Lord, I come, now fully bless,
And fill me with Thy righteousness.

2. Unworthy, Lord, to breathe Thy name,
Yet thro’ Thy death Thy love I claim;
Salvation’s free, in faith I bow,
And humbly crave Thy pardon now.

Refrain

3. O Lord, I come, deny me not,
Thy blood can cleanse each sinful blot;
In Thee I trust, oh, hear my prayer,
And for Thy courts my soul prepare.

Refrain

4. He saves, He saves, His grace is mine,
He fills my heart with peace divine,
And some sweet day in Heaven I’ll sing
Eternal praise to Christ my king.

Refrain
