1 Now it is accomplished! I’m no longer mine; Lord, I will forever and always be Thine, For Thou hast created and purchased me too, Baptized with Thy Spirit, Thou makest me new. 2 Now it is accomplished! My freedom is gone, As I am a captive of God and His Son; What freedom! O, I was by Satan enslav’d To do his ill bidding; but now I am saved. 3 Now it is accomplished! I now become free; From sin and transgression redeemed I shall be; The prince of this world, he enslaveth his own, A Christian thro’ Christ has his liberty won. 4 Now it is accomplished! Ye passions depart! A temple for Jesus shall now be my heart. O kind, loving Shepherd, Thou heavenly Guest, Thou bringest me comfort where I was oppressed. 5 Now it is accomplished! My soul He hath healed; A portion in heaven to me He hath sealed. O, may He direct me through joy and through ill; I’ll never forsake Him, but follow Him still. 6 Now it is accomplished, O covenant blest! His will on my heart and my tongue is impressed; To speak or keep silence as He shall command, With prayer and with worship before Him to stand. 7 Ah, now it is done! Now I live unto Thee; My Light and my Life, Oh, abide Thou with me! To follow Thee ever shall be my sole aim Thro’ shade or thro’ sunshine, thro’ honor or shame. 8 Ah, now it is done! Now I fear not to die, For death hath no terrors when Jesus is nigh. The body from pain and from labor hath rest; The spirit soars up to the home of the blest. 9 Now it is accomplished! Though deep in my soul I fear lest in weakness I stray from the goal; Yet I will not waver, my Saviour is kind; I trust in His mercy; thus courage I find. 10 Now it is accomplished! With heart and with mind To thee, my dear Saviour, I now am resigned! I’ll ever be faithful in life and in death, Abiding in Jesus unto my last breath.
