1 My Saviour, how I long for Thee
To dwell within my soul,
To rule my will, my actions guide,
And all my life control.

I am coming unto Thee,
Look in pity upon me,
Weary of myself, I pray
Come and dwell in me today.

2 Too long has self in subtle guise
Been dominant within,
Too long has pride the vict’ry gained,
Or some besetting sin.

I am coming unto Thee,

3 O, dear Redeemer, come to me
And end this weary strife,
Let self and sin be driven out,
By Thine indwelling life.

I am coming unto Thee,

4 My soul looks up to claim Thy power,
As at Thy feet I bow,
I can, I will, I do believe,
And I receive Thee now.

Saviour, Thou hast come to me,
