Born: May 16, 1867, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Buried: Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Son of Augustus and Catherine Esenwein, Berg was a minister. He married Caroline Miller in 1889 in Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
