1 King of Love, before Thee now
These Thy youthful courtiers bow,
Yielding Thee their newest vow--
Hear, O Lord, their prayer.

2 Grant that through their love for Thee
Their own love may sweeter be,
From all self-concern set free--
Hear, O Lord, our prayer.

3 May their love of Thee show best
In their happiness and zest
For the work Thou hast assessed--
Hear, O Lord, our prayer.

4 Two as one, we pray Thee, take
More to do for Thy dear sake,
This our chiefest prayer we make--
Hear, O Lord, our prayer.
