I will be a sunbeam everywhere I go

Representative Text

1 I will be a sunbeam, ev'rywhere I go,
Sympathy and sunshine from my heart shall flow;
Driving out the shadows with some loving deed,
Gladly give my service to another's need.

Refrain:
I will be a sunbeam, shining on the way,
Scatter joy and gladness, thro' each passing day,
I will be a sunbeam, shining on the way,
Scatter joy and gladness, thro' each passing day.

2 I will be a sunbeam, sending words of love
To sad hearts, to brighten all the way above;
Comfort give the weary, bending 'neath a load,
Point them to their Savior, tell them of their God. [Refrain]

3 I will be a sunbeam, shining fair and bright,
Banish care and darkness with a golden light;
This shall be my mission—none could grander be,
Than to be a sunbeam, shining, Lord, for Thee. [Refrain]
