Glory to the Lamb

Representative Text

1 Hark! the notes of angels, singing,
Glory, glory to the Lamb!
All in heav'n their tribute bringing,
Raising high the Savior's name.

Chorus:
Children join the angel chorus,
As they sing his praise above;
Join, O join in songs to Jesus,
Who is all redeeming love.

2 Filled with holy emulation,
We unite with those above;
Sweet the theme, a free salvation,
Fruit of everlasting love. [Chorus]

3 Endless life in him possessing,
Let us praise his precious name;
Glory, honor, pow'r and blessing,
Be forever to the Lamb. [Chorus]

For some time he preached in two unconsecrated buildings in Dublin, Plunket Street, and the Bethesda, and then, having seceded from the Established Church, he erected places of worship at Athy, Portarlington, Wexford, &c, in which he conducted divine worship and preached.
