Hail the King of kings!
All the radiant host of heav’n rejoice
Angel choirs in rapture
Of His glory sing,
Praise Him, sons of men, with heart and voice.

Opened are the gates of heaven,
Darkness, darkness flees away.
To the world a King is given,
Hail, Hail the dawn of day!

2 Sin and gloom and sorrow
Long have held their sway,
Jesus now has come unto His own.
See the golden dawning,
Darkness flees away,
Mighty host of sin shall be o’erthrown. [Refrain]

3 Hail the Lord of heaven!
Hail the King of kings!
Never shall His glorious kingdom cease.

She was liv­ing in Clar­idon, Ohio, in 1880, & Geau­ga Coun­ty, Ohio, in 1900, 1910, & 1920.
