Glorious City

1 Glorious city, home unclouded,
Where comes on no shade of night;
Where the saints, in shining raiment,
Dwell forever in the light;
Where no sun nor moon are needed
With their feeble, flick'ring ray,
But the Lamb of God exalted
Fills all heaven with endless day.

2 Glorious city, home eternal,
Where the saints shall dwell for aye,
Singing joyful hallelujahs
To the Lamb through endless day;
Crowns of life, and palms of glory,
Spotless robes will there be given.
Hallelujah! hallelujah!
