Du trugest still der Feinde Wut,
Befreitest uns von Sünd' und Tod
Und wurdest unser Weg zu Gott.

2 Dein Lieben, Herr, ist grenzenlos,
Und was Du gibst, so göttlich groß!
Doch größer noch als alles ist,
Daß Du, Herr, selber unser bist.

3 Und völlig wird das Herz gestillt
Und unsre Freude ganz erfüllt,
Wenn wir, Herr, Dir entgegen gehn
Und in der Herrlichkeit Dich sehn.
