Veio por Mim

Representative Text

1 Cristo Jesus veio para morrer,
Do meu pecado o castigo sofrer;
Graça divina na cruz posso ver!
Veio por mim, por mim!

2 Sim, meu perigo de longe previu;
Minha desgraça e miséria sentiu;
Para salvar-me, em morrer consentiu,
Mesmo por mim, por mim!

3 Vasto o deserto que Cristo trilhou
Quando, incansável, a mim procurou;
Grande Seu júbilo quando encontrou
Mesmo a mim, a mim!

4 Cedo no céu Sua glória verei;
De Seu amor eternal gozarei.
Em Sua casa também cantarei:
Veio por mim, por mim!
