Come to Jesus, heavy hearted

Author: Mrs. C. S. Smith
Published in 1 hymnal

Representative Text

1 Come to Jesus, heavy-hearted,
He will save your burdened soul;
He will put His arms about you,
And will lead you to His fold.

Refrain:
Dare you hope when days are trying,
Can you trust, to Him be true?
Come to Him, all hell defying;
He will see you safely through.

2 Oh the peace that passeth knowledge,
Joy no tongue can ever tell;
When you yield your life to Jesus,
Make your soul a springing well. [Refrain]

3 If the world has naught to offer,
Christ will save and satisfy;
Humbly bow, your gifts to proffer,
Heart and mind He'll sanctify. [Refrain]

4 Do you need the Holy Spirit?
Trust the Christ of Calvary;
Let Him fill you to o'erflowing,
Give you freedom, victory. [Refrain]
