Behold Your Sons and Daughters

Representative Text

1 Behold your sons and daughters, Lord,
on whom we lay our hands;
they have fulfilled the gospel word
and bowed at your commands.

2 Seal them by your own Spirit's power,
which purifies from sin,
and may they find from this best hour
your Spirit rules within.

3 Increase their faith, confirm their hope,
and guide them in the way;
with comfort bear their spirits up
to journey through each day.
