Text Information

First Line: Be still, be still, be still
Title: Be Still
Author: Janet McDonald (2014)
Language: English
Publication Date: 2015
Notes: This chant uses Psalm 46:10. It is a slow, repeated chant, intended to be used without needing to look at words. As it is repeated, the words and the repeated long note of the chant will allow people opportunity to experience the stilling of God through them. So, it is best used in a time of preparation for prayer, possibly at the beginning of a meditative style of service.
