At one with God O blessed thought

Author: Henry Victor Morgan
Published in 2 hymnals

Representative Text

1 At one with God, oh blessed thought,
No other staff to lean upon,
To hold Thy hand, To hear Thy voice,
To always feel Thy will is done.

2 To walk each day in perfect trust,
To see through faith Thy Kingdom come,
To bear in joy each seeming cross,
And always say, "Thy will is done."

3 To know Thy peace, eternal God,
To have no thought apart from Thine,
To dream Thy dreams, to speak Thy word,
To know the soul of man divine.

4 The storms of sense all passed away,
The souls revealed, Love's Kingdom come,
To say with Christ, in perfect trust:
"Thy will is mine, lead Thou me on."
