Jean E. Garriott (Mrs. Christopher T. Garriott) is the wife of the minister of the St. Paul Community Church of Homewood, Illinois. She is a graduate of the Conservatory of Music, Millikin University, Decatur, Illinois. During the past fifteen years, she has conducted music clinics in Massachusetts, Colorado, and Ohio for the International Convention of Community Churches. She is well-known in the Chicago area for her hymn programs, given as piano talks. Four of her poems have appeared in The Christian, international magazine of the Disciples of Christ. She is the mother of three sons, and takes an active role in the life of the church.
