653. Fill all my life, O Lord my God

1 Fill all my life, O Lord my God,
in every part with praise,
that my whole being may proclaim
your being and yours ways:

2 praise in the common things of life,
our going out and in;
praise in each duty and each deed,
however small and plain.

3 Fill every part of me with praise,
strong though I be or weak;
of you and of your love, O Lord,
let all my being speak;

4 then shall each part of day and night
be sacred to the end,
and all my life be fellowship
with you, my Guide and Friend.
