172-1. How Much I Owe?

1 King Jesus died on Calvary,
Oh, yes, for you and for me.
I often wondered if I tried,
I cannot tell how much I owe.

Refrain:
How much I owe for love divine,
How much I owe since Christ is mind,
And what He is to me I know
I cannot tell how much I owe.

2 And when we reach the other shore,
Then we will rest forevermore;
Ten thousand years may come and go,
I cannot tell how much I owe. [Refrain]

3 I mean to live where peace abides
In heaven by my Saviour's side.
Oh, yes, my soul is sanctified;
I cannot tell how much I owe. [Refrain]

4 My sins were more than I could bear
I wondered if He heard my prayer,
The record now I know is clear;
I cannot tell how much I owe. [Refrain]

5 King Jesus suffered much for me
That in His glory I may be
Forever in eternity;
I cannot tell how much I owe. [Refrain]
