7. There's an Uttermost Salvation

1 There’s an “uttermost salvation,”
A salvation full and free,
Purchased by the blessed Saviour,
When he died on Calvary.

Refrain:
“Wherefore he’s able to save to the uttermost
them that come unto God by him,
seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.”

2 ’Tis a great, grand salvation,
Wondrous in its breadth and pow’r!
Trusting souls in it find keeping,
Day by day, and hour by hour. [Refrain]

3 Come and test this great salvation,–
Whatsoever be thy need,
And you soul will find most surely
That ’tis uttermost indeed. [Refrain]
