1 When its raining and the sun is shining,
You can see a rainbow in the sky,
All its glory is of love's designing
Sent to make you know that god is nigh.

Chorus:
Make a little rainbow of your tears,
It will help to drive away your fears
Let the Light Divine thro' the tears of sorrow shine,
Make a little rainbow of your tears.

2 When your heart is overwhelmed with sadness,
And the tears of grief are falling, too,
Let His sunshine fill your heart with gladness,
he will make a rainbow just for you. [Chorus]

3 When the fairest dreams of life are broken,
When its cherished friendships pass away,
When your heart is weighed with grief unspoken
There's a rainbow for your darkest day. [Chorus]
