PXVa. A Psalm of David

1 Lord, in thy tabernacle, who
a soujourner shall be?
And who is he inhabit shall
Thy mount of sanctity?
2 The man who walketh uprightly,
who worketh righteousness;
And who the truth within his heart
does uprightly express.

3 Who with his tongue backbiteth not,
nor does his neighbour hurt;
Nor yet against his neighbour doth
take up an ill report.
4 Whose eyes the vile, tho' great, contemn;
but all the LORD who fear,
He honours; and he changes not,
tho' to his hurt he swear.

5 Who to oppressing usury,
his money hath not let;
Nor taketh a reward or bribe
against the innocent.
Who constantly observes these things,
is graciously approv'd,
He's surely in a happy state,
and never shall be mov'd.
