Text:Help Me, O Jesus
Author:D. J. B.
Tune:[Help me, O Jesus, to trust Thee]
Composer:David J. Becker

4. Help Me, O Jesus

1 Help me, O Jesus, to trust Thee;
This world is so dreary and cold.
Satan is trying to lure me
Out from Thy blessed fold.

Chorus:
Only in Thee am I righteous.
Only in Thee have I rest.
Jesus, my Saviour so precious,
Only in Thee I'm blessed

2 Humbly I pray for forgiveness,
If sin I have hidden in me;
Cleanse me so well, blessed Jesus,
Now as I come to Thee. [Chorus]

3 Give me a victory ever
Then troubled by doubt and despare;
Let me not leave Thee, no never,
Sure is Thy gentle care. [Chorus]
