1 I am walking now beside the Saviour,
He so gently leads me day by day,
I will follow gladly where He leadeth,
I’ll go with Him all the way.

Refrain:
I am going all the way with Jesus,
I have started in to go clear thro’
I will follow gladly where He leadeth,
I’ll be faithful, I’ll be true;
By and by He’ll call me home to heaven,
There to live throughout eternal day;
I have started in to follow Jesus,
I’ll go with Him all the way.

2 Tho’ sometimes He leads me thor’ the valley,
There I listen to Him softly say:
“Fear not, follow on, still I am with thee,
I’ll go with thee all the way.” [Refrain]

3 ‘Tis so sweet to follow where He leadeth,
Tho’ it be the strait and narrow way;
‘Tis the path that leads to that bright homeland,
And I’m going there to stay. [Refrain]

4 Soon I’ll reach the end of this short journey,
Soon I’ll reach that happy golden shore,
There to walk the golden streets of glory,
There to praise Him evermore. [Refrain]
