9. I Hear the Voice of Jesus

1 I hear the voice of Jesus:
He's calling me to-day;
He bids me wait no longer,
He bids me come away —
To join the ransom'd children,
And praise His holy name,
And learn to wait with gladness
His coning back again.

2 I've heard the voice of Jesus:
And now I am His own;
I know H'es with me alway,
I never am alone;
In every trial and sorrow,
He keeps me day by day,
And in His word He tells me,
He'll watch me all the way.

3 I'll hear the voice of Jesus,
When He shall come again,
To take me home to glory,
Where I with Him shall reign;
But should He call me sooner,
How gladly I will go
To praise Him with the ransom'd,
who learned His name below.
