1 Let the children come to me,
Now, methinks, I hear Him say;
In my kingdom they will be;
Purchased by my blood are they.

Refrain:
Let them come, let them come;
In my bright and heav’nly home
There is welcome there is room;
Let them come, let them come.

2 Let the children come to me:
This He said in days of old;
With their hearts from sin made free,
Let them come into my fold. [Refrain]

3 Let the children come and sing;
Hinder not their joyful songs;
Let them now their tribute bring,
For to me their praise belongs. [Refrain]
