1 Away from the fold, out into the cold,
As a lost sheep I wandered away;
Like a shepherd so brave,
Jesus came and did save,
And I’m safe in His arms today.

Refrain:
I am safe in His arms today,
Jesus washed all my sins away;
By His death on the tree, full salvation is free,
And I’m safe in His arms today.

2 The billows did roll, and troubled my soul,
I was tossed till my strength waned away;
Jesus walked on the sea,
Bringing sweet peace to me,
In His bosom I rest today. [Refrain]

3 O sinner, come home, in danger you roam;
You are treading the broad downward way;
While the Savior is near,
And His pleading you hear,
Come and rest in His arms today. [Refrain]
