53. Wonders in Glory

1 We have heard of the mansions in glory,
Prepared by our Savior above,
Where all His children from labor shall gather,
And rest in the smile of His love.

Refrain:
They hunger and thirst nevermore,
Their sorrow and weeping are o’er;
No night ever shadows the beautiful hills
That bloom on eternity’s shore.

2 We have heard of a pure flowing river,
Like crystal its waters so bright,
Where ransomed souls who were tried and found faithful,
Are walking with Jesus in white. [Refrain]

3 When we read of those mansions in glory,
Whose splendor no mortal can share,
We think of friends who have gone on before us,
And pray that we, too, may be there. [Refrain]
